Episode 5 – Last One Picked

At some point or other, virtually all of us will have a moment when we are not the first one picked. Most of us will also know what it feels like to be the last one picked.

How we deal with that disappointment, and how we learn how to deal with it in the future, can have long-lasting consequences on our health and our happiness. The good news? A little effort can go a long way to building healthy self-esteem and to helping others.

Episode 6 – Think Tank – Cyberbullying

Nothing moves faster than the digital world, as our Have you ever been cyberbullied? Do you know what can happen to a cyberbully? This growing problem needs your help, and everyone at the Think Tank is counting on you to put an end to cyberbullying.

Episode 7 – Truancy

Let’s all play Hop, Skip, and a Jump, the game show that proves truancy is never a good idea. Join our contestants as they match wits (or try to) with show host Flynn Valentine. All of our contestants are skippers, one way or another, and it shows when they try to keep up with the questions. From low self-esteem to losing your driver’s license, skipping school never leads to anything good – and it certainly can lead to something bad.

Episode 8 – Resilience: Making the Grade

Resilience. When something doesn’t go well, we need to be able to bounce back – to get back on track. That isn’t always easy. In fact, sometimes it feels impossible. We all need to work on being more resilient, and we all need to know that it’s okay to ask for help. Join our tardigrades, nature’s most resilient creature, to learn a few secrets about how to get back on our feet when things don’t go our way.

Episode 9 – Marv or Myth? Talking About Mental Health

Is it real, or is it a myth?

As our mythical creatures point out to us, they are very real, and so are mental health issues. We can’t see mental illness the way we see other illnesses, so we have to be on the lookout to make sure friends and family (and ourselves) get the right support to be mentally healthy.

Episode 10 – Build A Bear

Everything takes practice!

And that includes learning how to be assertive – how to speak up. It may come easier for some than it does for others, but it’s a very important life skill that we can all develop. Episode 10 will help to show you how.

Episode 11 – Negative Social Media, Riding The Pine

Have you ever tried something new? Of course you have! Everything you have ever done was brand new to you at some time, right? Maybe it went well, maybe it didn’t, but getting up off the bench and giving it a try is a great first step to take.

What about trying social media? Well, it can be a great way to connect with new friends and old friends, but it shouldn’t replace playing and learning. These are the things that Coach Hampton and her team are about to find out – and they would like you to join them!

Episode 12 – It’s Written In The Stars

We each deal with the death of a loved one – and the changes – differently, but it’s important to know what is on the path ahead for nearly all of us who grieve.

Our three friends, Quinn, Cameron, and Olivia, are dealing with their own grief, but they soon discover they have more in common with one another than they knew.

What happens to a family when parents divorce? The answer to that question is probably different for every single family, but one thing is certain – life changes.

Change can bring opportunity, but it can also bring fear, sadness, even anger. As painful as those feelings can be, it’s important to talk through them and to understand what you and your family are experiencing.
